The Office of Responsible Gambling has identified 10 regions for the delivery of gambling support and treatment services in NSW. The 10 regions have been developed based on demand and geographic profile. This interactive map can be used as a guide to understand the geographical boundaries of each GambleAware Provider region. These regions are typically aligned to the boundaries or combining a number of Local Health Districts.

This interactive map is maintained by Spatial Services on behalf of the Office of Responsible Gambling (ORG).

The ten GambleAware regions are:

1) Blue Mountains and Western Sydney

2) Far and Western NSW

3) Hunter New England

4) Illawarra and Southern NSW

5) Mid and Northern NSW

6) Murrumbidgee

7) Northern Sydney and Central Coast

8) South Eastern Sydney

9) South Western Sydney

10) Sydney Central

Relationship to Themes and Datasets

Geographical boundaries have been developed considering the boundaries of Local Health Districts across NSW (note - several may be contained within one GambleAware Provider region).

The map should align to the specifications outlined.

Standards and Specifications

The map has already been drafted utilising the boundaries of the NSW Local Health Districts with some Local Health Districts merged.
